Last monday was raining, and I was working in the rain for the WHOLE AFTERNOON! Haiz.. Thurs down with flu le.. see doct, spend $28, completed the whole course of medication, still nv recover.. This afternoon went to see doctor again, which cost me $96. To an NSF $96 is really alot.. If I earn $10000000000000000000 a month, you take $9600 i also dont feel anything. Doct gave me a spray. Nose blockage is just like some road congestion on the road. Should just install some ERP at my nose instead. Hope i can get better by tmr.. cos flying to taiwan tmr night le.

1 more day to taiwan. This time round i dont really feel the sian-ness compared to last yr's taiwan trip. Probably i have get used to overseas training aldy. Have been to taiwan and aust, and this time round, it will be my ORD trip. ORD loh!

Hi everyone. I have not been blogging for like a mth plus.. kinda lazy la.. let me recall what happened during these 40+ days..

FEb was kinda a busy and fast month.. have 3 exercises to support for the last 3 weeks of feb.. oh ya, during one of my deployment, i saw 2 rainbows across the sky. It was first time in my life sia.. 2 rainbows.. of cos, i made a wish la.. hahaha.. heard tt when see rainbow, make a wish, it i will be accurate.. er.. still got wat ah? forgot le.. haha..

as for march leh, STORES!!! need to pack the container within a week.. going taiwan mah.. oh ya, I will be in Taiwan from 20th March to 8th April AND 11th April to 30th April . Dun miss me too much k.. miss abit can aldy..

Oh ya, my disruption from army for uni have been approved aldy.. woohoo.. which means, i will be OUT OF ARMY on the 6th Aug.. haha.. sch will start on the 11th Aug.. kinda worry leh..

Today marks the end of 2008. Guess 2008 was just an average year for me. Hopefully 2009 will be better. Every year, I would summarise up things/events that happened on that year. Actually i aldy typed out until July aldy.. and think i wont continue it ba.. This year, my saddessssssst day was 2nd Aug 3.18pm...

I have been clearing my leaves and offs from christmas til now.. the sad part is I DIDN'T GO OUT WITH ANYONE... sad right.. not that i no friend or wat.. is i currently very broke, dun dare to ask ppl out... but I got asked 1 people out la... but then.. tt person not available.. so in the end... 7 days rotting at home.. cant believe tt this month i didnt go town... This mth damn damn broke ah.. i spent abt $320 on my room le.. (still got another $120 on doctor... WA LAO.. )painted my room yellow, bought new things.. so, this is the outcome: (some of the decoration i made myself de.. nice right? )

So how? isit nice? very office isnt it.. haha.. tt's the purpose.. 9 more days to pay day.. i am looking forward to it loh..

Shu Chien received his medical degree from National Taiwan University and Ph.D. (Physiology) from Columbia University. He was a faculty at Columbia Physiology till 1988, when he came to University of California, San Diego, where he is University Professor and Y.C. Fung Professor of Bioengineering and Medicine. He established the Institute of Biomedical Engineering, Department of Bioengineering, and Institute of Engineering in Medicine at UCSD, and UC System-wide Bioengineering Institute in California.

Chien has made seminal contributions to cardiovascular regulation, blood rheology, blood cell mechanics, and endothelial cell mechanotransduction. His awards and honours include Melville Medal (twice), Landis Award, Galletti Award, Zweifach Award, Poiseuille Medal, and Founders Award of National Academy of Engineering. She have been a good teacher and also a good friend.. Thanks for all her guidance in everything, esp in art. I am able to work in BBSS as TA, relief teacher is because of her.. I want to thank her for giving me this opportunity, in 2003, to help her in designing those 33 HOM posters for BBSS.. I enjoyed those time working together with you... Thanks for everything.. =)

DAys in Aust

Shall post what happened during my trip to aust..

Departed on the 5th Oct. Those ORD ppl came to airport and send us off.. they were so happy loh.. cos aft we left, their life in platoon room = no govt la.. soo shiok..

We touch down at about 2am.. waited for some stupid AQIS inspection.. These angmoh nothing to do ah.. took out all our things and check for mud, soil, sand.. damn stupid.. We reach our camp at abt 7am..

After we reach, we went recce the camp. This was how our camp look like..

This is our bathing area, we need to use the pail the fill up water from the tap, then lower down the water container,, pour the water in, and bring it up... like flag raising la.

Driver did their orientation on the sec day.. and i am one of them.. kns.. damn suay, my vehicle broke down on the road.. 4pm like tt.. so lan lan suck thumb, need to wait for recovery which arrive at abt 7pm.. sun set aldy la.. damn dark loh..

First week slack la.. cos exercise haven start.. so jus prepare stores, check our vehicles. btw, we were supporting 3 exercises..

The whole training area was very big la.. 4 times singapore's size.. which means need more GRS to cover the whole area.. Charlie and I were deployed to Polygon on the 18th Oct to 22nd oct.. Staying outfield damn sian.. night damn cold loh.. the temp drop to abt 11 degree la.. i used 4 sleeping back still cannot tahan sia.. On the 19th, one of the camp caught fire, burnt down 20 tentages. these ppl poor thing loh.. everything gone.. hp, psp, laptop, clothings, all gone.. damn sad la.. we were very lucky loh..

We have 1 day off on the 1st nov. went to rockhampton town. yummy.. this plate of dun-know-wat-that-made-me-so-full plus a bottle of 600ml of coke cost AUD$11.

One day to relax ourselves before the start of the 3rd exercise. I was deployed fm 3rd to 5th to a place known as H6. this deployment was "OMG-the-worst-site-ever"..

the whole exercise ended on the 8th nov.. the last few days was just returning stores, vehicles, and prepare for R&R.

Went to some cave during RnR.. so stupid.. we like going to find batman like tt.. the best part during RnR was the last day la.. after reading dun laugh ah... k.. one the sec day, we went play lazer quest. I was running down a slope from 2nd floor to 1st floor. then i didnt brake in time, my whole body bang on to the wall infront of me, and i fall on the floor.. kns.. damn loud la.. BANG u know.. BANG!!!! my friends all laughing la.. both my knees still blueblack loh..

I spent abt S$400 loh.. S$150 on chocolates.. qiang right? haha..

And now, 4 more mths to taiwan.. I will be going to taiwan for exercise nxt yr, feb/march.. counting down..... ;)

JAKARTA - At least 21 people were killed in a stampede in Indonesia on Monday as they crowded an alley to receive a cash handout for the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, police said.

Another 11 people were injured in the crush as thousands packed the narrow sidestreet in Pasuruan, East Java province, to receive a cash gift of 30,000 rupiah (S$4.60) each from a rich family, police said.

"Some 21 people were killed and 11 people were injured," local police chief Adu Sunarto said.

Cash handouts are a common form of charity favoured by wealthy Indonesians during the holy month.

"It's an annual activity from that family but there were a lot more people lining up today than in previous years," Pasuruan mayor Aminurrahman told ElShinta radio.

He said there were at least 2,500 people in the alley when the stampede began for unknown reasons. - AFP/vm

Just came back from 4 days 3 night deployment. Stay outfield from mon til today. didnt have a good sleep.. everynight at least woke up 5-6 times. miss my bed.. tonight can slp "song song" liao.. and 4 days nv bathe.. wa.. 4 days eat cup noodles.. now i am so sick of cup noodles... 4 days do nothing, but to stare at trees, sand, rock, sky, ants.... and i am also a natural fertilizer for the tree... cos i pang sai.. ahaha..

Nothing interesting happened this week. It was so boring. Routine work loh. Cleaning all the stores, equipment tt gonna bring to aust..

Oh ya.. I got my flight details aldy. I will be departing singapore on the 5th Oct, 3pm. and back on the 13th of nov. about 6 weeks ah.. its an outfield camp.. different from taiwan.. and i think staying in outfiend camp is a best way to slim down.. Going aust is so troublesome.. everything must be free from dust, soil, rust.. alamak.. there is even inspection on our stuffs la.. sianz.. very very troublesome..

OK. REcently my unit came a new sergent.. so QIAO.. this sgt is ex-bbss student. He grad in 2005. I invigilated his class druing his olevel prelim b4.. omg.. now he my sgt.. alamak..

TEacher's day celebration. ok. I went back to bbss. I reached at abt 8am. then the guard told me OM said 9.30 then can enter.. alamak... in the end i have to call Mr Neo for help.. thank mr neo. he asked the guard to let me in.. OMG.. so paiseh. la.. bought something for my math teacher.. She taught me for 3 years and was my form teacher for 2 years.. SHE IS MDM YEO.. yeah.. MDM YEO rocks.. she is one of the best teacher i respect in BBSS..

This would be my last time going back to bbss le.. i mean the toh tuck campus.. wont be going back le.. I'll miss this toh tuck campus loh.. got memories de.. hmmm.... toh tuck i miss you.. ;)

Everytime I take the MRT I will get disturb by two things.
.
1. Elderly people standing, and no one offers their seat.
2. People squeezing into the train, when passengers haven alight.
.
I remembered one day i took the train, one old lady was standing all the way from Jurong East to Redhill, because nobody offer their seat to her. Some were pretending to be sleeping, some were looking at the floor as if there are gold. Same thing happened today. Two old man were standing. Not that I want to comment abt singaporean. they are really kns.

If i am the Minister of Transport, I will suggest:

1. Cater about two-door- length of area just for needy people.

2. At every sections of the train, indicate 2 to 3 seats only for needy people.

The colouring of the floor/ seats will be different to show that this section/ seats are for needy people. No other passengers are allow to enter this sections / sit on these indicated seats even it is empty, during non-peak hours. During peak hours(0730 - 0900 and 1730 - 1900), it will be open to all. but the section/ seats will give priority to needy ppl.

If still uneffective, implement fine. Fine will always be the last solutions. If singaporeans still so self-fish, fine will be necessary.

This is my 2nd time feeling so fuck up in the month already. I think I have made a wrong decision on the 11th Aug, leading me to the current situation, which I have totally no idea what to do next. HOW? Sometime life is just like that. When you really put in 110% of your care and concern, you might not get anything back, totally nothing, and even worst still, sometime, people just dont care. This is the signal that i receive. Probably I should lower down my expectation on certain things so that I wont get too disappointed. I remember what Mdm Fadilah told me "your expectation for NT classes cannot be the same as Exp classes, because they are different." I think this apply here also, the expectation cannot be as high as what i think it should be.

I can't blame anyone also. It's all my fault. Totally my fault.

I should just fuck off on the 20th Oct 2007, and not looking what was left behind. I also dont know why I did that. Damn stupid.

I should just let go everything, not just one, but EVERYTHING, because no matter what, they are not mine, even if my subconcious mind believe that it is mine. When there is a different, there is always a different no matter what you do, no matter how much effort you put in. Fact is always a fact. 说位，命里有时中须有,命里无时莫强求。Zong yan 说过，正方形和长方形永远画不上等号。I totally agree with what she said, a square cant be equal to a rectangle.

Just treat this as a lesson for me. I shall not look back anymore. Everything gonna be history. Let it be in the history of "The Legend of Xiaolele-ed".

I guess it is because I am too free. How I wish I am studying now, busy doing projects, preparing for exams, slowly increase my stress level to 100%. At least I wont have time for all this shit.

This morning, when I was on my way to buy breakfast, I saw this mother and son, abt 4 yrs old. This mother was going to work, while the maid brought the boy to sch. The boy said "Mum, I love you".

Dont know what's happening to my right knee. This morning after life run, I felt the pain on my right knee again. Sometime i can feel that my Tibia is about probably 5 degree out of position from my Femur.. alamak...

In my poly, I did a project and a presentation on Knee Implant. Probably i can find a suitable knee implant for myself.

Who is at Fault?

There is no point to find who's at fault when things happened. What is the point? And people are pushing "fault" around. Hey u, 35% fault, u 25.156%, u 21 %, u 2%, u 16.844%, making up a total of 100%. There is nothing as 1% fault, 99% fault. Once you are at fault, even 0.00001% also consider as wrong.

The best way is to think how to prevent it from happening agian, which i think is more practical, rather then pointing at others and cover your backside. If needed, sit down and think of a standards or SOP, so that if things ever happen a gain, we can follow the procedures and avoid this similar incident from happening. Isnt this better?

We should really just treat this as a lesson.

today drive the landrover for orientation.. damn suay.. the veh broke down on PIE.. in between two lane somemore.. engine cant start for abt 5 min ah.. then the expressway damn lot veh.. aft tt ok le.. cos no petrol.. heng, landrover got two petrol tank..

1) for the whole of this week, need to stay back til 10pm.. omg... sianz.. reach home 11pm liao loh..

2) i need to particiate in the Army Half Marathon on 24th Aug, SUNDAY.... heng, i dun need run 21km.. but still need to run.

3) Going to Taiwan for exercise nxt year from 13th March 2009 to 11th April 2009..
this yr 15th oct to 16th nov going aust.. its an outfield camp somemore loh..

and my stupid right knee didnt get any better... feel like taking a hammer and break it loh..
